From Baa Baa to Beats- if enduring traditional nursery rhymes makes you cringe, this post is for you!

There are many parents who can only tolerate so much of the traditional, old-school nursery rhymes that we all (and our parents, and possibly our grandparents) grew up on.
Even some of the new kid’s music can make your ears bleed (have you heard Cocomelon- wheels on the bus?😵‍💫 or…wait for it…BABY SHARK?🤮)
Let’s be honest, road trips and travel are not fully enjoyable when the radio is dedicated to our little angels. When I play music, I want to jam out with my toddler-not zone out. I’m talking full dance party get down.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Moms and Dads, Grandparents, fun aunties and uncles- let me introduce to you….
Fresh, Modern kids’ music.

If you’re looking to explore the different worlds of children’s music today, here are some of my recommendations to get things exciting:

-For my rap/hip hop music families- PLEASE go listen to Blake Rules KIDS TRAP albums. (there are probably more than 20 to choose from. from pizza parties to lullabies- give it a chance!)

-For my TECHNO/RAVE families- Lenny Pearce kids music. Stay dance party ready my friends.

-To my country families- Music Travel Kids (for a smoother, more recognizable nursery rhyme channel)

Whatever your preference, I hope injecting some remixes into your kids’ music helps you bond and create fun, goofy memories.

Happy listening, y’all!
